Tech Trek Alumnae

Every year since 2017, Tech Trek campers have reunited at Stockton on the weekend before each new cohort of 7th grade campers arrives on campus. Alumnae Reunion engages returning campers in hands-on STEM activities all their own, reconnects them with STEM mentors, and with each other, expanding peer networks every year.

Beginning in 2023, some of our 2016, 2017, and 2018 alumnae volunteered as dorm “moms” and camp counselors. This tradition has grown every year, creating a leadership pathway for returning campers to become STEM role models to each new cohort of campers.

After the 2025 camp, the G. W. Bailey Fund provided alumnae with a $100 per camper supplies budget and a challenge to continue enhancing the leadership roles that women-in-STEM play in their own communities. The “Picture a STEMinist” project was designed to span the 2025-2026 year between camps, engaging preschool, primary, secondary, post-secondary, and adult audiences of all ages in STEM workshops, led by Tech Trek New Jersey alumnae!
